Designing Your Springtime Wellbeing Action Plan

Springtime is here and as the days grow longer so too does the opportunity to refresh our plans towards prioritizing our mental and physical wellbeing. Let by a PR executive turned health coach after losing 150 pounds, we’ll share five tips you can immediately implement so you can sleep better, increase your energy, and stay focused for the rest of the school year. 

Session objectives:

  • Gain insights based on survey results from PR professionals on their experiences with health and the workplace.
  • Apply traditional communications and marketing planning techniques for creating fitness and wellness goals that work for anyone and set themselves and their teams up for success.
  • Learn practical health, wellness, and fitness tips that are tailored to communications and marketing professionals.
  • Create an actionable springtime wellness plan.

An accredited public relations executive and certified health coach and personal trainer, Mark Mohammadpour’s mission is to help PR professionals prioritize their health and wellness so they can reduce stress, grow in their career, and shine. More than a decade ago, Mark started a journey that led him to lose and keep off more than 150 pounds. Through that journey, Mark has developed a practical and actionable approach to help people stay mentally and physically resilient.

Before launching Chasing the Sun Health Coaching, Mark was an executive at Weber Shandwick and Edelman, leading award-winning public relations campaigns for global brands, including Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, and the U.S. Army. Mark served as the PRSA Oregon Chapter president in 2016 and is the “Workplace Wellness” columnist for PRSA’s Strategies & Tactics.

A proud and lifelong Portland-metro area resident, Mark is a graduate of the University of Portland.
