The communications team from Highline Public Schools near Seattle, Washington, will cover the core elements of a high-performing team. Spoiler alert: it’s a lot more than technical skill. Delve into cultivating a motivated, emotionally intelligent team and a deeply collaborative culture. This interactive session will share proven strategies for fostering a person-first workplace. And do not worry if you’re a one-person shop! They will incorporate tips on how to work with other departments to create a team culture of communication.
Social media expert Danielle Craig will help you boost your district's image on Instagram using the latest tips and tricks the algorithm will pick up! This will be a hands-on workshop to ensure you have skills you can take right back to your district and use immediately.
The Portland Public Schools communication team will share tested-by-fire lessons from the recent historic teacher strike.
